My Child
The things others have done to you in the past have left you with deep wounds. You carry this pain with you today and it is affecting the way that you deal with others, and even the way you deal with me.
But why do you turn from me when you sin? I am not rejecting you. I knew you were going to sin when I chose you to be a child of mine, and I still chose you. I sent my beloved Son to die on the cross so that you would understand that you are reconciled to me. Why do you still try to do things to gain my acceptance? You are accepted…and loved…and cherished.
Stop allowing this root of rejection to govern our relationship and your relationships with others. I have sent my Word, which is the Truth, to combat what the devil is whispering to you. Saturate yourself with these Words so that you can guard against rejection.
